| Body System Booklet |
Purpose: To learn about the five body systems
Teacher Note
This activity will take several class periods. Review body systems before creating the model.
Materials
- computer with Internet access
- butcher block paper
- construction paper
- glue
- scissors
- markers
Procedure
- Create a body booklet by either having your partner trace the outline of your body onto butcher-block paper or draw a body shape on large construction paper. Use the original outline as a template to trace and cut 5 more shapes.
- Use the following web sites to access information about the body systems. You will find information as well as a diagram that students can use to put on their body shapes:

- Research each system.
- Draw and label each system onto the body shapes, one shape per system. The sixth body shape will be used for a cover.
- Complete the cover by drawing in facial features and clothes and color.
- Exchange body shape booklets with another group and use the following rubric to access their project
