What do you do? I analyze satellite data to retrieve cloud and radiation properties.

What is your first childhood memory of a scientific investigation or problem-solving situation? When I was 10 years old, I wanted to learn more about weather forecasting and the effects of high and low pressure, so I built my own barometer out of a glass jar, a straw, and a balloon.

Why did you decide to enter your field? I experienced severe weather and tornadoes living in Texas and have always wanted to learn more about clouds and the atmosphere.
