What is the best thing about your job? The best thing about my job is the honor of working with all the great people in the space program! I really enjoy helping others and knowing that I can do something to help improve their health and longevity.

What made you enter your profession? I’ve always been interested in fitness and living a healthy lifestyle, so I wanted to work in a field that encompasses these ideals.

What is the most interesting technology you use in your job? In the Flight Medicine Clinic we use an electronic medical record, which allows much better capability in tracking patient data than paper records. It is an amazing tool!

Did you like science or math when you were in school? To be honest, science and math were always very hard for me. I do enjoy learning about the human body and health related issues, and learned that even though science and math weren’t my favorites, I needed to study them to be successful. My favorite science course was in college when I took Anatomy and Physiology.
