What do you do? I perform fundamental flow physics research in wind tunnels.

Coolest equipment you use? A three-component laser velocimeter. It uses lasers to measure the speed of air.

How do you use mathematics in your job? We use mathematics to design our experiments, fabricate models, configure instruments, conduct experiments, and analyze data.

Career Advice for Kids: Get a solid foundation in mathematics and science and remember everything.
