Keep these guidelines in mind.
- Scientists and researchers are very busy! Try to answer the question yourself before asking them.
- Check the questions already answered (archived) before asking your question!
- Keep questions short and simple!
- Include your grade level so that the scientist can answer at a level you will understand!
- Experts specialize in certain areas. Only ask questions related to the expert's field.
- Don't include any personal information such as your name or home address. Protect your privacy!
Here's an example of a GOOD Question:
